Tasnim - Naft Tehran football team defeated Sepahan 1-0 in the Iran’s Hazfi Cup semi-final on Friday.

In the match held in Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium, Iman Mobali scored the winner from the penalty spot in the 45th minute.

The visiting team went down to 10 men in the 79th minute after Tohid Gholami was shown a straight red card.

In the 86th minute, the referee awarded a penalty kick to Sepahan but Ehsan Haji Safi missed that.

Shoja Khalilzadeh from Sepahan and Naft Tehran’s Abbas Bouazar were sacked in the injury time due to a clash.

“We deserved to win the match. Naft Tehran is determined to win the title. I think the referee was wrong to award Sepahan a penalty kick,” Daei, who was sent to stands, said.

On Saturday, Tractor Sazi will host Zob Ahan in another semis in Tabriz.
