Mohammad Nosrati received his heavy suspension for stamping on Oman's Imad Ali

IRNA - The Asian Football Confederation suspended three Iranian players and sent Bahraini referee Abdul Rahman Al Delawar home Sunday.
Rahman Rezaei and Ali Badavi faced two-match ban and 5,000-dollar fine for bust-up while their teammate Mohammad Nosrati who leveled the match in the injury time against Oman in the 13th Asian Cup Group D game in Chongqing, southwest of China, Sunday was punished with a four-match suspension and 7,000-dollar fine due to trampling the Omani striker Imad Ali in an off-the-ball incident.
Delawar was knocked out of the tournament for letting Nosrati keep playing after the brutal stamp and salvage a 2-2 draw three minutes into the stoppage time.
