PLDC - Tehran, Esteghlal manage to gain three points with a lone goal from Mohammad Ghazi.
Saba visited Esteghlal in Azadi Stadium hoping to leave with at least one point. Saba striker, Mehdi Momeni, fired a dangerous shot at Esteghlal's net in the 15th minute, but Mehdi Rahmati made the save. Just a minute later (16th), Reza Enayati took another shot at Rahmati's net, which he saved comfortably.
In the 28th minute, Khosrow Heydari took a shot on Saba's net, which the goalkeeper saved. In the 31st minute, Mohammad Ghazi displayed his skills as he converted Borhani's pass into a goal, from behind the penalty box. In the 41st minute, Khosrow Heydari sent a long pass to Borhani, whose shot his the post.
Saba Qom received a penalty in the 54th minute, which they failed to convert, as Mehdi Rahmati made yet another brilliant save. Siavash Akbarpour came on for Pejman Nouri in the 58th minute, and Esteghlal's tactics became more offensive.
Mayeli Kohan's team kept trying to equalize the game, but they were unsuccessful.
In Ahvaz, Damash visited Foolad and made a good effort, but the hosts were able to win the match. Foolad won the match 3-1, with goals from Luciano Pereira Mendes (26th, 46th) and Bakhtiar Rahmani (53rd). Damash's only goal came from Masood Hassan Zadeh in the 47th minute.
