Ivankovic could be leaving Iran next month

IRIB - President of Iran's football federation said Tehran attempts to extend Croate coach Branco Ivankociv's contract.

Iran boasts of enjoying such head coach, and we plan to sign a new contract with him, IFF president Mohamad Dadkan told reporters Friday as the national team was given a warm welcome at Mehrabad international airport in Tehran.

Let the people feel the joy of the team's triumphant over Amman, he added.

National football team head coach Branco Ivankovic said our work is not over yet and we should get ready to face Qatar.
