MNA – The Esteghlal football team demolished Damash 8-1 on Tuesday at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in the round of 32 of the Elimination Cup.
Striker Arash Borhani scored five times in the Esteghlal goal festival while Ahmad Khaziravi, Mehdi Amirabadi and Farhad Majidi squandered Damash’s hopes in the match, which was officiated by Alireza Faghani.

Sohrabi scored Damash’s consolation goal.

Esteghlal is scheduled to play the winner of the match between Mes of Rafsanjan and Mes of Kerman in the octofinal round.
