Iran international Arash Afsin could be on his way out of Iranian Pro League side Foolad at the end of the season, as Eintracht Frankfurt and several Bundesliga sides have shown great interest in signing the highly rated youngster.

A source close to the Eagles revealed the club is in the market for a new centre forward to bolster their attacking options after a very disappointing season, scoring 24 goals in 24 matches in the league.

They also confirmed Michael Skibbe has personally been trailing the youngster and believes although he might not be a short term solution, he will be an asset to the club moving forward.

Afshin has developed into a key player for the Team Melli since making his full debut in 2010 against Angola. The forward recently illustrated his great ability in the 2011 Asian Cup in Qatar, scoring his debut goal against the UAE.

He is considered to be one of the most promising forwards in Asia.

The Bundesliga outfit face stiff competition in the race for Afshins's services though. The young forward has also been linked to several unnamed Bundesliga clubs and is expected to away from Iran in the summer in search for a European club.
