MNA - President of Iran Football Federation (IFF) Mehdi Taj has departed Tehran for Zürich to meet with FIFA President Infantino.

Accompanied by IFF International Consultant Mohammadreza Asefi and President of the Futsal Committee Abbas Torabian, Iran’s Taj travelled to Switzerland in order to attend a meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The meeting is scheduled to kick off today at 11:00 a.m. Zürich local time.

The main objective of the session is to restore the assets of the Iranian Football Federation (IFF) which were blocked by FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) as a result of International sanctions against Iran.

President of Iran Football Federation Taj, together with his entourage, will return back to Tehran on Friday.
