TEHRANTIMES - Rasoul Korbekandi has been named as successor for Mansour Ebrahimzade at Zob Ahan football club.

The 59-year-old coach has returned to the Isfahan-based club after five years.

“It was unexpected. The Zob Ahan officials called me Wednesday night and asked me to take charge their team,” Korbekandi said. “Maybe it’s my destiny to take charge of my team. I have a difficult task since some players’ contract have finished.”

Zob Ahan finished in sixth place in the Iran Professional League standings table, 22 points adrift of title winner Sepahan.
