Esteghlal edges past Zob Ahan [VIDEO]

TEHRANTIMES - TEHRAN, Blues’ newly-signed striker Amin Manouchehri has saved three points for Esteqlal through a late winner against Zob Ahan in Tehran.
The former Saipa player who came from the bench in the second half put the ball into the net with a header on an impressive cross by another substitute Maysam Baou.
Following the victory at the Azadi stadium on Tuesday, Esteghlal stood in the fifth place with six points.
Manouchehri told reporters after the match that Esteghlal was very great against its rival and it was the whole team’s efforts that caused his goal.
In other matches, Damash thrashed Peykan 5-3 in Rasht and Fajr Sepasi beat Naft Abadan 2-0 in Shiraz to stand on the top of the Iran's Premier League table.
In Ahvaz, Foulad overcame Saipa 2-0. Naft Tehran and Aluminum finished scoreless in Tehran, defending champion Sepahan and Rah Ahan played out to a 2-2 draw in Isfahan, and Teraktorsazi defeated Mes 2-1 in Tabriz.
On Monday, Persepolis and Gahar Zagros drew 1-1 and Malavan beat Saba 3-1 thanks to Jalal Rafkhaei’s hat-trick.
