PLDC - Tehran, Ali Manouchehri is an Iranian-Chilean football player born to an Iranian father and Chilean mother, who currently plays for Deportes Concepcion in the Primera Division de Chile.
Ali is a versatile Center Back who is strong in the air and has excellent speed moving forward. He has the power and technique to deliver long range shots and given his commanding presence on the field, Ali is the type of player who can almost immediately change any game.
Ali has also played for the Chilean U23 national team. He was born in Vienna, Austria to a Chilean mother and and Iranian father. Given his multi-nationality there are several options to play at the national team level.
The use of mixed-raced in conditions when there are many criticisms levelled at Queiroz might not be logical, but the head coach of Team Melli has shown that he does not care about these criticisms.
It is said that if Team Melli advances to the world cup, one of the favourite players that Carlos Queiroz would study his file more seriously is Ali Manuchehri.
In conditions that Team Melli has been in critical situation for its defense line in recent years, it would definitely be beneficial for Queiroz and his associates to invite a player with acceptable technical quality, but by referring to his age, the opponents of Ali Manuchehri believe that the Chile second division (Primera B) is not so well-known that the head coach of Team Melli wants to invite a player from this league.
Of course, as the Agent of Manuchehri says, he has been invited on loan to the second division for financial issues; otherwise, his play quality is at the primer league of Chile.
But, all his advocates say that this player is worth being tested once.
