Suarchai

PLDC - Tehran, The head coach of Thailand has said that with their new generation, Thailand wants to get a point from Iran in Azadi Stadium.

The Thai coach, Surachai Jaturapattarapong said, "We have an important match against Iran. We haven't gained a single point from the two last matches, and need to gain a point on Tuesday, so we have a chance of qualifying for Asian Cup 2015. However, our opponent is a powerful team. I have played against Iran for World Cup qualification matches; against an Iran that had Ali Daei. In the two matches that I played against Iran, we didn't lose."

About his team, he added, "I have put together a team of young players along with experienced players. With Thailand's new generation, I want to take a point from Iran. I'm sure we can accomplish our goal. My team plays organized, and this is what gives me hope."

Surachai continued, "I have to give my team confidence, and this is why I say we will gain a point. However, we know that Iran is a god team. In my playing days, I used to play in front of 50-60 thousand spectators, and now I want to share this experience with my team so that they don't get stressed when they see the Iranian fans (in Azadi).
