Ali Karimi - Royanian

PLDC - Tehran, Ali Karimi has said that he wonders about Royanian, because the Persepolis CEO wants to plan a goodbye match for Farhad Majidi, while Persepolis didn't have a proper ceremony for Mehdi Mahdavikia's farewell.

After Tractor's match against Esteghlal in Tabriz, Karimi said, "They played closed but they didn't play anti-football. Perhaps if our team was in need of a point, we would have played like them."

When asked about the bitter goodbyes of Iranian footballers, he replied, "Maybe I will leave the same way. Unfortunately this won't change until our administration changes. Hamburg SV was supposed to come to Iran for a farewell match for Mahdavikia, but for some reason that didn't happen. Managers in Iran make lots of promises to the media, but when nothing happens, they have nothing to say."

Regarding the money that Persepolis owes him, Karimi said, "I am not in need of this money. If they can, they should pay their current players. They have all these financial problems, but somehow their technical cadre gets paid on time. The players do all the work, and everyone from the coaches to the team masseur gets paid, instead of the players. If they dare, I want to see them not pay Daei."
