Salgado

PLDC - Michel Salgado, the former defender of Real Madrid, who has taken a trip to Iran, had a meeting with the officials of our country’s Football Federation and Hossein Hedayati, the owner of Steel Azin.

In response to the question about whether friendlies  between Iran and the national teams and clubs of Spain were considered in their talks, Michel Salgado said, “We had a brief talk on the friendly match and we decided to talk about it later. Now, we have talked about the generalities and postponed the details to the next sessions.”

Salgado asserted that, “We also discussed the training camps in Spain. I am aware of the history of Iran’s football and had some talks about it to form a close relation between Iran and Spain football.”

In this session, Hedayati announced his readiness to pay the expenses of a friendly match between Iran and Spain national teams. Of course, the owner of Steel Azin emphasized that he would only pay the cost of this match provided the disciples of Vicente del Bosque face Team Melli in Iran.
