Persepolis set to sign Brazilian player Gabriel

TEHRANTIMES - Brazilian midfielder Fernando Gabriel is on the verge of signing a contract with Iranian football club Persepolis.


The former Figueirense player is currently a free agent after terminating his contract with Azerbaijani club Khazar Lankaran.

The 26-year-old has already participated in Persepolis training and has caught the eye of red giant’s head coach Hamid Derakhshan.

Persepolis is currently standing in eighth place with 22 points from 17 games.
