PLDC - Nasser Hejazi after
refusing to comment about Esteghlal team, said: “They do not recognize me as
a specialist to ask my opinion.” Hejazi told reporters yesterday:" I was
going to travel to UAE for the Asian Club championship games, but the papers
wrote that I am going there because Al-Ain club has asked me to go, and I
will tell them Esteghlal’s secrets, I decided to cancel my trip so if
Esteghlal loses, they do not blame me for it.
I will talk about Esteghlal after the games, and I wish them success. About
Perspolis, Hejazi told reporters:” Since Perspolis’s group is not as tough
as Esteghlal’s, I assume that Perspolis’s only real opponent will be the
host team because of the cold weather of the area.
Perspolis should be able to defeat the other teams but since they have not
signed any high-quality strikers this season, I’ll give them a %50 chance of
advancing.”
Hejazi continued:” Perspolis must arrange its team according to its
opponents, and that’s only possible they have seen tapes of the other teams,
otherwise they will have to walk in with no knowledge of the opponent and
closed eyes. Since only one team will advance from each group, Perspolis has
a difficult task, and the players must work together in order to achieve
success.”
At the end Hejazi talked about Minavand and said:" He is a national team
player and has enough experience, if he gets ready physically, he will not
have a problem against the Asian opponents.”
