IRNA - Disciplinary Committee of Iran's Football Federation (IFF) banned national striker of Pas, Khodadad Azizi, for six months.
Based on the committee's decision, Azizi is not allowed for half a year to play in all official matches.
The IFF's Disciplinary Committee issued the verdict following Azizi's unsportsmanship in Pas-Foulad derby in the 16th week of Iran Pro League.
Azizi was also fined two million rials (250 US dollars) in cash. The committee said the striker has already committed unathletic acts and after a lapse of just one month he was suspended he did it again.
It has also summoned Jalal Kameli-Mofrad of Khuzestan's Foulad to refer to the committee on Tuesday afternoon, March 18.
