Tasnim - Former Iran and Persepolis midfielder Ali Karimi has reached an agreement to take charge of Sepidrood on Monday.

The 39-year-old coach, who parted company with Naft Tehran in September, will be introduced as new head coach of Iran top flight team soon.

Karimi replaces Omid Ravankhah who stepped down from his role on Dec. 21.

Sepidrood Rasht sits 13th in Iran 16-team league, just three points above the relegation zone.

Sepidrood is a debutant in Iran Professional League (IPL) after won promotion in May, 2017.
