Tasnim – Iran’s Persepolis midfielder Siamak Nemati’s goal has been voted Goal of the Week for the second leg of the 2018 AFC Champions League semi-final.

Nemati’s goal garnerd more than 100,000 votes.

Siamak Nemati volleyed in Godwin Mensha's cross from the left to make it 1-1 and put his side back in front on aggregate.

The Iranian giant beat Al Sadd of Qatar 2-1 on aggregate Monday night and booked a place in the AFC Champions League final for the first time.

Kashima Antlers forward Serginho, Al Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah and Dejan Damjanovic from Samsung Bluewings were also vying for the award.
