Footballleagueworld - Nottingham Forest striker Karim Ansarifard has posted an update on social media that will interest fans of the Championship club.

The 29-year-old posted this photo on his personal Instagram story earlier today, showing him and his Forest teammates enjoying a selfie while in the gym.

The Iranian striker has found himself in and out of the team at the City Ground, this season after he was signed by Aitor Karanka during the first half of the campaign.

The centre-forward has started only one of his ten Championship appearances for Forest this season, scoring just once.

Forest are currently 11th in the Championship table, after a poor run of three straight defeats has all but ended their chances of making the play-offs.

The Reds are currently eight points outside the top six, with just four matches to play, having played a game more than sixth-placed Bristol City and eighth-placed Derby County.

Martin O’Neill’s side will be hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend when they travel to Sheffield United on Friday lunchtime, before Middlesbrough visit the City Ground on Monday afternoon.

It has been a difficult season for Ansarifard since he joined Nottingham Forest as a free agent earlier in the season.

The striker has found regular first-team football for the Reds hard to come by, although the striker appears to be enjoying his time at the City Ground, judging by his latest social media post.

The forward should focus on working hard in training to force his way back into O’Neill’s plans for the last four matches.
