AFC - FORMER China coach Bora Milutinovic is currently in Iran as a guest of the Iranian Golden Ball Awards, presence that had spurred the local press to link the Serb with the vacant Iran national job.

It was reported on Persian Football that Milutinovic is on top of the Iran Football Federation wish list after the national body had failed to agree terms with Croatian Branko Ivankovic and Antonio Oliveira.

While Milutinovic's experience and achievements in the game are undeniable after appearing at five consecutive World Cup Finals with five different sides, it is yet unknown if talks are already underway between the two relevant parties.

Milutinovic recently turned down an offer to coach Serbia & Montenegro (former Yugoslavia) and after his appearance in the Middle East, his next stop will be back in China to attend the Real Madrid friendly game against a local Chinese selection.
