Tasnim – Ex-Esteghlal sporting director Ali Khatir has been banned from all football activities until further notice.
The punishment was handed out by the ethics committee of the Iran Football Federation.
He has been accused of damaging credibility of Iran football.
Last year, Khatir played a role in hiring Italian coach Andrea Stramaccioni as Esteghlal coach.
