MiddleeastFootball - Werder Bremen Brazilian striker Ailton revealed he is assessing the possibility of accepting Qatar naturalization, talking to German weekly magazine ‘Bild’.

Ailton’s 16 goals this season have placed him at the top of the goalscorers charts in the Bundesliga, also propelled surprising outfits Werder Bremen to the pole position of the league table standings, 7 points ahead of reigning champs Bayern Munich.

“I am studying this special offer from Qatar FA that includes a €1 million plus €400.000 per year,” added the year-old elusive striker.

The Brazilian forward had previously expressed his intention of playing for Germany last December, after seeing his chances of representing his native Brazil quite remote.

“I will take a final decision regarding this offer next week,” concluded the 31-year old forward.
