Tehran, June 3, IRNA -- Esteqlal of Tehran cruised into the semifinals of Iran's soccer league as it beat the Isfahan-based Zob Ahan Sunday.
Host Esteqlal netted three times in the second leg in the Takhti Stadium with over 5 thousand fans.
Popular side of Iran fought back to respond Zob's 46th minute goal scored by Aref Mohammadvand. Three Minutes into second half, fullback Sohrab Bakhtiari-Zadeh leveled the match and left winger Mohammad Navazi made it 2-1 in the 68th minute from the spot kick.
Blues' striker secured a berth in the semifinals as he slotted home in the 75th minute.
Fereydoun Esfahanian judged the match.
In the first leg, the two teams fought to a goalless draw.
