Legends Football League (LFL) is a women's league of American football created in 2013. The game was previously called the Lingerie Football League.
The LFL concept was created as an alternative to TV content during the Super Bowl halftime show and was called the Lingerie Cup. The first three cups were played from 2004 to 2006. The next three were cancelled for various reasons. In 2009, the creator of the LFL, Mitch Mortaza, developed the concept into a full game.
