PLDC - Ali Moosavi, the Esteghlal striker from Khouzestan, has been going through a financial disagreement with his club recently and is apparently asking the club to give him the dues uncollected since the start of the last season. He spoke in this regard, “I have not collected my debt from Estehglal since last year. Now Mr.Fathollahzadeh (Esteghlal chairman) has asked me to sign a new contract with the club as soon as possible so I must solve the financial side of things.”

“This problem keeps being postponed and I only get promises that it will be solved. I am waiting for the club to settle with me so I can sign the contract and play for my club again. The Union Cup was good for us and it gave us a chance to try out Koch’s new tactics. We followed his directions carefully. He was not after results but he was happy with the outcome.”

“I had bad luck last year. I became injured after a few matches and had a few problems with the club. This was a big setback for me. I hope that the same problems will not happen this year and we can go the Asian
games in high spirits. I assure the fans that I very fit and I’ll perform well.”
