PLDC - According to Mahmood Khordbin, Perespolis of Tehran team supervisor, the pressure of the unexpected murder of the wife of Naser Mohammadkhani (club coach) has affected the players drastically and has brought their spirits to an all time low. This was the reason for the weak and uncoordinated match against Bargh of Shiraz in the first week of the Iranian Professional League.

Khordbin also commented that the training of the team yesterday, was in relative calm and the boys had become slightly refreshed. The Practice sessions will apparently be followed up seriously so that Persepolis may once again perform at its optimum as in the past. Persepolis is now waiting for the second and third week of the Professional League on a more positive note.

Khordbin ended his interview by mentioning the fact that Al Ghadesiyeh of Kuwait had invited his club to their country for a friendly match but that the date had not been finalized. The expected time of this game is thought to be during the mid league break.
