PLDC - Behnam Seraj is a dependable player for Foolad Khouzestan who is not involved in side issues and is very supportive of his club. This is what he expressed in a recent interview, “The professional League will be better and with fewer problems if it goes on according to schedule and without breaks in it. We are seeing a clear development in out-of-Tehran clubs and they are not browbeaten by Persepolis and Esteghlal any longer. They are more powerful now.”

“A four-week long break (Ramadan) in the league will again disrupt coordination among the teams. We have to do bodybuilding once more and other training to be in optimal shape. I am happy with my performance but not 100 percent. I think I have done all right so far.”

“Foolad is trying to become third in the league as we were last season and we are also hoping to become the champions. The fans this year expect more of us, which has affected us mentally and we are under a lot of pressure to win.”
