PLDC - According to Mayelikohan, ex- head coach of Siapa of Tehran, the insistence of Ronald Koch (German head coach of Esteghlal of Tehran) for order and organization within his club will ensure success in the future.
Mayelikohan still believes that Koch has not come to know football in Iran well enough as yet.

Mayelikohan went on to say, “Koch makes all the decisions in Esteghlal and it doesn’t matter to him which players goes on and this new trend is a very extreme change within the club’s policy to date. From now on we
expect the football of the Esteghlal to improve and be better planned and organized as the players and the coaches have come to know each other better.”

“The qualification of Esteghlal into the 1/8 leg of the Asian Clubs Super Cup is very valuable and important for Iran. Esteghlal could not have done it without hard work. There is now need for an Iranian coach to assist Koch in the club as he does not know Esteghlal’s football well enough. With a local coach on the scene the team’s performance will improve greatly.”
