PLDC - With the registration of the new candidates for the position of the head of the Iranian Football Federation IFF, the (IFF) is entering a new and sensitive stage of its activities in the next few days. The prospective candidates who wish to be chosen for the post only have one week to personally register themselves at the IFF head quarters.

The present temporary head of the IFF, Mohammad Dadkan commented in this regard, “I do not know how many candidates have registered so far. I have no idea what point of view will be ruling over the choice. The IFF
commission must first of all give its rule on the matter of the resignation of Safaei Farahani, ex-head of the IFF, and then hold new elections. I do not think Farahani would be willing to become a candidate for this post again.”

“If I know there is someone who is trustworthy, with integrity and wants to be of service to the football of our country I’ll fully support him and try to be neutral. If all the candidates have stepped forward for the prospects, the money and other selfish reasons, then we’ll be forced to introduce a few of our own people. It is possible for me to become a candidate too.”
