PLDC - Aref Mohammadvand has been in the
fixed midfield position for Persepolis since the start of the season and
Parvin has been satisfied with him so far. In the 7th week match against
Fajr Shiraz, Mohammadvand was absent after receiving two yellow cards in
previous matches. In his absence the midfield of the club worked well. Now
it is up to Ali Parvin, head coach of Persepolis, to decide whether he will
be placed in the fixed team position or not.
Mohammadvand commented to the press in this regard, “I don’t think because
the midfielders worked well while I was absent, that I’ll be put on the
bench. I respect Parvin and I’ll accept any decision he makes. I have not
been able to show all of my capabilities to Persepolis so far but I intend
to reach my peak before the start of the Asian Super Cup and to perform in
the best way.”
“I wish that the Pas – Persepolis match could be played in Azadi stadium as
it will be one of the nicest matches of the league and the only obstacle to
it would be the quality of the pitch.”
