PLDC - In the ninth week of the Iranian Professional League, Pas of Tehran defeated Esteghlal Ahwaz with the score of 2-0. Despite the fact that Homayoon Shahrokhi, head coach of Pas, believes that they always have
difficulties playing in Ahwaz after years of experience playing there, his team won.

Shahrokhi spoke to the press after the match, “As the game was a 0-0 draw in the first half, I was forced to change tactics which gave us results. Esteghlal Ahwaz is a very young and balanced team who has a very
motivated, young coach in love with the game.”

“Last week we were unlucky and had to win this week to rise in the charts. Our boys played well and I am satisfied. The player changes were right and were planned well. The refereeing of the game was good and had
no problems.”

Pas is now 5th in the league table with 14 points and Esteghlal Ahwaz occupies the last place with 5 points.
