IRNA - The indoor football teams of Iran and Italy will play their first friendly in the 12,000-seater hall of Azadi Sports Complex, 10 km west of Tehran, on January 14. The four-time Asian champion, Iran, is preparing for the Asian Futsal Championships to be held in Japan in August 2003. Iran and Italy are to play their second friendly on Wednesday, January 15.
Iran's Football Federation (IFF) announced the spectators may watch the friendlies free of charge.
Both matches start at 05:30 pm.
According to IFF, the Iranian futsal side consists of Reza Heidarian, Vahid Shamsaei, Mojtaba Moini, Majid Reissi, Saeid Abdollah-Nejad, Kazem Ahmadi, Ahmad Pari-Azar, Mohammad Hashemzadeh, Siamak Dadashi, Mojtaba Ahangaran, Ali Sanei, Reza Nasseri, Hamid Abrarinia, Mansour Mowlaei, and Majid Nikdari. Mohammad-Hassan Ansarifar and Mahmoud Khorakchi is steering the team as the head coach and coach. Sadeq Doroudgar is the head.
