Iran U-16 soccer team invited to Alatri tournament

MNA - The Iranian U-16 soccer team has been invited to the Alatri football tournament to be held in Lazio in March 2009.

Altogether 12 teams will take part in the football tourney, including English club West Ham, Spain’s Atletico Madrid, Lyon of France, Italy’s Sampdoria, Spartak Moscow, Brazil’s Palmeiras, Montevideo of Uruguay clubs and Romania U-16 team.

Iran’s U-16 soccer team coach Ali Dusti said, “We are going to participate in the tournament to prepare for the FIFA U-17 World Cup to be held in Nigeria next year.”
