The eight clubs suspended by the IFF Disciplinary Committee include Abumoslem, Esteqlal, Esteqlal Ahvaz, Pas, Paykan, Persepolis, Rah Ahan and Saba Battery.
In a letter to the IFF Secretary General, Mojtaba Sharifi, head of the Disciplinary Committee, said the eight are not allowed to sign any player or have any sports-related activities unless they settle with the players or clubs they owe money to.
