MNA - Eintracht Frankfurt winger Mehdi Mahdavikia is dissatisfied with his condition in the German club.
The Iranian player has been out of action in Eintracht from the beginning of the current season.

“It’s a difficult situation for me and I feel so disappointed. I never imagined it would be like this in Eintracht. I do not know what to do,” Fr-Online quoted Mahdavikia as saying.

The 32-year player joined Eintracht from Hamburg in 2007 as a replacement for Albert Streit; however, the Iranian has yet to find a way to be chosen in the starting list.

Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that Mahdavikia is set to return to his homeland, but he ruled this out. He said,” These are just speculations in the newspapers. I will not come back now because Iran Professional league matches are due to end soon,”

Mahdavikia’s contract expires at the end of the season and Eintracht has not decided whether to extend his contract or not.

Mahdavikia resigned from the national team in June. The former Iran captain said, "It was a great honor for me to play 13 years for the national team. It was an outstanding period."
