MNA - Sepahan of Isfahan edged a little closer to Iran Professional League (IPL) title with a win over Shahin of Bushehr on Sunday.

The win ensured the team remains six points clear of the second team in the standings Zob Ahan. Ibrahima Touré scored just 33 seconds into the match. Ahmad Jamshidian scored Sepahan’s second goal in the 65th minute against relegation-threatened Shahin at the Fooladshahr Stadium.

Zob Ahan, another Isfahani team, was held to a goalless draw by Rah Ahan in Tehran.
Sepahan lies in top of the IPL standings table with 59 points, Zob Ahan is second with 53 points and Persepolis remains in third place with 50 points.
