MNA - Malavan of Bandar Anzali stunned Tehran’s Persepolis football team in the Iranian Professional League on Sunday.

In the match held at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium, Malavan defeated Persepolis 3-2 in front of about 10,000 spectators.
Gholamreza Rezaei gave a lead Persepolis in the 6th minute but Mohammad Rostami equalized the match four minutes later. Mehrdad Oladi scored Malavan’s second goal in the 20th minute from the penalty spot.
 
In the 49th minute, Maziar Zare leveled the match with a free kick. Persepolis put the visitors under pressure afterward but failed to score the winning goal. With just two minutes to the match Pejman Nouri fired Malavan to a 3-2 win over Persepolis.
