MNA - Persepolis captain Karim Bagheri announced he will not continue his career in the team.

Bagheri, who has not been in the starting lineup in the recent weeks, said he was tired of sitting on the bench in Persepolis.
Bagheri’s debut for Persepolis was in August 1996 and one year later he joined Arminia Bielefeld in Bundesliga. Bagheri returned to the Tehran-based team in 2002.

The 37-year-old midfielder has played 178 times for Iran’s popular team and scored 29 goals.
