PFDC - PAMPLONA, Masoud Shojaei got injured in Osasuna's 2-3 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Sunday and reportedly will be out for the rest of the season.
The 26-year-old broke his toe shortly after being subbed on in minute 75 and will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
Shojaei's contract with Osasuna will run out at the end of this season. The offensive allrounder had already been close to join Racing Santander in winter after two-and-a-half seasons in Pamplona, but decided to stay and recently impressed with several decisive assists.
