MNA - Persepolis won Iran’s Hazfi Cup despite a 1-0 loss to Malavan of Bandar Anzali on Friday.

Persepolis lost to Malavan in the Hazfi Cup second leg but won the match 4-3 on an aggregate.
Mehrdad Oladi scored match’s only goal in the 19th minute with a header.

The Tehran-based club had won the Hazfi Cup during the last season after defeating Gostaresh Foolald of Tabriz.

Persepolis equaled its archrival Esteghlal’s record of five titles.

Malavan’s frustrated fans rioted after the end of the match and clashed with police into Bandar Anzali’s Takhti Stadium.
