MNA - Persepolis coach Hamid Estili on Wednesday asked Tehran-based team’s fans to show patience.

Persepolis football team was held to a 1-1 draw by Malavan in the first week of the Iran Professional League in front of its home fans. The team lost to Shahain in the second week and now is scheduled to face Shahrdari on Thursday.

“I can understand the impatience of Persepolis fans but we need time. Our team is not well-organized since I have not had enough time to prepare for it. After six weeks, Persepolis will definitely show a better performance,” Estili said during the news conference before a match against Shahrdari.

“My objective is to make fans happy but they should have faith in us. We need to show some patience. I believe that Persepolis would be one of the best team in the season,” he added.

“Persepolis has earned one point from its past two matches so we must defeat Shahrdari in our home game, nevertheless we will have difficulty to encounter with critics,” Estili stated.
