Khalatbari Persepolis

PFDC - DOHA, Al Gharafa offensive allrounder Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari has been ousted from Al Gharafa by newly signed Iranian veteran striker Farhad Majidi and is seeking for a new club.

Khalatbari had joined Bruno Metsu's team in summer from Zob Ahan, however, Gharafa had a disappointing season so far, standing in sixth position of the league ranking with only eleven points from nine games.

Especially worrying is the offense, as Al Gharafa only scored seven goals so far.

Khalatbari, more a versatile playmaker than a classic goalgetter, scored two goals and assisted another, which wasn't enough to satisfy coach and managers though.

Reportedly Persepolis Tehran are eager to sign Khalatbari, but also archrivals Esteghlal Tehran and some other clubs from Iran and other Persian Gulf countries have signalled interest.
