PFDC - ISTANBUL, Ashkan Dejagah will most likely miss both of Iran's World Cup qualifiers in June, Team Melli's doctors told reporters on Friday.

The doctors are in contact with their colleagues in Wolfsburg via Email, and got to know the winger is recovering well, however, shouldn't return to action in the coming weeks.

Dejagah injured his thigh in the second last round of German Bundesliga in May.

Meanwhile Team Melli's camp is in full progress with all players but Mohammad-Reza Khalatbari having arrived and resumed training. The Al Wasl player is still on club duty and it is unclear how long before Iran's game against Uzbekistan will be released.

Surprisingly, Persepolis Tehran defensive midfielder Maziar Zare had been called up as 25th player on Wednesday and joined the rest of the squad in Istanbul.

Iran will have a test match against Albania in Istanbul on May 27 before meeting Uzbekistan (June 3) and Qatar (June 12) in World Cup qualifiers.
