IPL Week 2

PLDC - Tehran, Persepolis fail to score in Fooladshahr Stadium, and so do their hosts.


The Persepolis match in Esfahan against Zob Ahan ended in a goalless draw.

Foolad defeat Fajr Sepasi in Ahvaz, with a lone goal from Farzad Hatami in the 63rd minute.

The biggest surprise of the day, and the most exiting match was between Naft Tehran and Saba Qom.

Reza Norouzi took the lead for Naft with a 26th minute goal. However, the all time leading scorer in the Iran Pro League, Reza Enayati, tied the game for Saba in the 40th minute.

Then in the 53rd minute, Farid Karimi scored the winning goal for the visitors.

Hossein Ebrahimi from Naft was ejected from the game in the 45th minute of action. Saba player, Mohsen Bayat, was also given a red car two minutes later in the 46th minute of the match.
