PLDC - Ramsar, In a letter to the minister of the Sports and Youth Department, Persepolis players compared Mohammad Royanian being discharged from his duties to a train derailing.

The news of Royanian's discharge created a strange atmosphere in the Red Army's camp in the northern city of Ramsar.

The following is a letter from Persepolis players and the technical committee:

Dear Dr. Abbasi

Minister of the Sports and Youth Department

With greetings, salutations and respect

As you know, in the past few years Persepolis has suffered from the constant change of management and this has caused the club to get humiliating and unacceptable results.

Unfortunately, as seen in previous years, the opportunist higher powers of the club have only been after personal gain and they have begun to destroy the club again by discharging Royanian, after he put Persepolis on the road to success.

These people and their actions must be put under investigation for wanting to damage Persepolis. This has all happened in the midst of Persepolis fans finding new hope in their beloved club after Ali Daei being signed as the head coach.

We the players of Persepolis stand side by side with the fans, and want Royanian to remain the chairman of the club to bring further stability and harmony.

Therefore we ask of you; your excellency, who has been righteous and has knowledge and authority, to not give in to this suspicious decision and like always support Royanian with all of your power, so that you may stand proud and free of guilt when facing not only the people but also Divine Justice.

Truly Yours,

Persepolis players and technical cadre

This letter was written and signed with the cooperation and contribution of Persepolis players. Some of the club's players will be joining the team in Ramsar tonight and they will also sign this letter which will then be hand-delivered to Dr. Abbasi by a Persepolis representative.
