Tasnim - Iranian official Alireza Faghani has been nominated to receive AFC Award at the AFC Annual Awards 2014 gala in the Philippine capital city of Manila on

November 30.

The shortlist of three nominees for each category of the awards features both new faces as well as former winners and the eventual recipients will be announced at the event which will also be celebrating the AFC's 60th Anniversary, the-afc.com wrote.

The nominees are as follows (in alphabetical order):

Referee of the Year Award
Irmatov, Ravshan (Uzbekistan) – Officiated a world record ninth FIFA World Cup match at Brazil 2014
Mohammad Faghani, Alireza (Iran) – Officiated at the FIFA World Cup 2014 and AFC Champions League 2014, including the first leg of the final
Shukralla, Nawaf Abdulla Ghayyath (Bahrain) – Officiated at the FIFA World Cup 2014 and AFC Champions League 2014

Women Referee of the Year Award
Gani, Rita (Malaysia) – Officiated at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2014, including a semi-final match
Kamnueng, Pannipar (Thailand) – Officiated at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2014, including a semi-final match
Yamagishi, Sachiko (Japan) – Officiated at AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2014, including the third place match
