The National Team defender: "I was told to be prepared by Branko earlier."

PLDC - Even though it was my first official game with the national team, I was not nervous since we were playing in Tehran and I was told earlier that I should expect to play by Branko.

Ibrahim Taghipour, the national team defender told our reporter: "I was happy to play for the national team for the first time, and I am in particular happy that I played in the game that took us to the Asian Nation's cup." He added: "We should have won by many goals if we have not been so unlucky.

We played well and could have won by five goals." After he was asked whether he was expecting to play, Taghipour said: "I have been preparing myself for some time now, and Branko was happy with my performance in the training, he had told me that I should expect to play soon and get my self ready, and overall I was happy with the way I performed."
