PLDC - Zob Ahan, the other Isfahani side who represent Iran in this year’s AFC Champions League, beat Pakhtakor 1-0 in Foulad Shahr Stadium, today in Isfahan.

The only second half goal by Emanuel brought all the joy to Isfahan. Pakhtakor faced Persian Red Giants, Persepolis last year, where they beat them 1-0, where Persepolis presented not a bad game, but still failed to qualify. Persepolis takes Zob Ahan’s victory as a reprisal and thanks Zob Ahan.

Zob Ahan didn’t have a good start in today’s game, which refers to the stress and pressure that was on all of their players, experiencing their first exterritorial game.

Pakhtakor was also aiming for a draw, and looking forward to the second leg game in Uzbekistan. Zob Ahan fans are expecting better performance in future games, hoping to become a big surprise in this year’s champions league.
