MNA – Dutch trainer Arie Haan quit Iran’s popular football team Persepolis as the club did not accept the manager’s new conditions here Thursday.

Mohammad-Hassan Ansarifard, the club managing director, named coach Hamid Estili as caretaker manager.

Haan coached the Reds in the fifth Iran Pro League and steered them toward the League Cup final.

Turkish trainer Mustafa Denizli, the head coach of top-flight Iranian side Pas last season, is to arrive here tonight to hold talks with Persepolis on the vacant post.
