MEF - DUBAI, Nov. 26: Soon after the collapse of the talks with German supremo Rainer Hollman, “for some skyrocketing financial demands,” according to club officials, Al-Shabab are scheduled to hold some extensive talks with Croat manager Branko Ivankovic when the East European coach lands today in Dubai.

“Negotiations with Mr. Hollman reached a dead end on Monday and it was quite unfortunate not to see him join the club. He could have provided us with an astounding wealth of experience at the highest level of the game,” one club source told daily paper Al-Ittihad today.

“Nevertheless, we are not giving up in the search of a new manager,” he added.

“Mr. Branko Ivankovic has a tremendous experience at club level in the Gulf region, and we are expected to have some extensive talks with him later today,” concluded the club source.

Al-Shabab are suffering from one of their most dismal league campaigns for years currently lying at the second-from-bottom spot on the table standings with only 2 points out of maximum 15.
